We are working to set up a photo-bio reactor to grow biomass that absorbs CO2 and can be used for creating bio-fuel from renewable resources. These pictures show an experiment to set up the pumping system. In the photo-bio reactor, the system will pump into the tube a solution of water and phyto-plankton, that will grow thanks to the action of the LED lightning in the photosysntesis process , changing the solution color into green.
For this experiment, we didn’t have any phototropic organism around for the water solution, and we needed it to be colored for testing. So we prepared a red solution using ink. Unfortunately, the Campari was finished…
