palienish
The Panda is white, black and asian and eats bamboo. It's an open minded creature concerned about the future. The Alien comes from outer space. It's a special creature that thinks laterally. The Fish swims smoothly in the water. It's an elegant creature that moves fast and silently. So it's the Palienish, an open minded, special, smooth creature that thinks differently, moves silently, and is concerned about the future. The Palienish is not a logo. It's a state of mind.

.Just a few months after the Pink Floyd published The Dark Side of the Moon, Cesare Griffa was born in Torino, son of Giorgio (painter) and Adriana (Newfoundland breeder). He went to a french school and got a Baccalaureat C in Chambéry. He then studied architecture at the Politecnico di Torino, and at the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Valencia. Despite the late post-modern cultural environment of those years, he managed to graduate. Soon after becoming an architect, he enrolled in the Italian Navy where he served as sub lieutenant in the Italian Coast Guard on the Adriatic Sea.
.Back to Architecture, he worked on a series of commercial projects before landing in London at the Architectural Association Design Research Lab, where he got into nerdy computer design. With many of his fellows from the AA, he moved directly to the fast growing studio Zaha Hadid Architects just after graduation. He soon returned to Torino for a short adventure working on the Ice Hockey Stadium designed by Arata Isozaki, ARUP and Pier Paolo Maggiora, and then moved back to Zaha where he was part of the team that opened the Italian office in Rome..He finally settled in his hometown Torino where he got a PhD from the Politecnico, opened his own practice, and began his teaching activity. He later spent a half year as a Fulbright research scholar at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He teaches at the Politecnico di Torino and has been Master School coordinator at Istituto Europeo di Design..His interests focus on making stuff for an adaptive future in which humankind learn to embrace a symbiotic approach to Nature instead of trying to dominate and destroy..Clients Portfolio includes: ArchA Spa (Turin, I), Buzzi srl (Turin, I), Carlo Ratti Associati (Turin, I), Comitato Italia 150 (Turin, I), Comune di Nichelino (I), Comune di Venaria Reale (I), Comune di Nichelino (I), DE-GA Spa (Turin, I), De’ Longhi (Treviso, I), Elle srl (Treviso, I), Fondazione per il libro, la musica e la cultura (Torino, I), IAAC (Barcelona, ES), Istituto Europeo di Design (Milano, Torino, I), MIT Senseable City Lab (Boston, USA), NITAL srl (Torino, I), Ordine degli Architetti di Imperia (I), Politecnico di Torino, Regione Piemonte, Rubner Haus (Kiens, I), Santa & Cole (Barcelona, ES), Scuola Holden (Turin, I), Torino 2008 World Design Capital Committee (I) , Zaha Hadid Architects (London, UK).>(+-)<cgtv
