in a few hours =>> big opening of the (probably) first italian fablab inside the exhibit “Stazione Futuro” for the Italia 150 events in the Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Torino. The lab will be active from mar. 17 to nov. 20, 2011.
Brand new machines, brand new people, brand new blog…
We are very proud to be part of the Arduino driven team that made that possible… thanx to Massimo, Davide, Sara and all the exhibition team. thanx also to the machine producers and dealers: SEI , Roland Italia ,C.M.F. Marelli italian dealer of Zcorp, F.T.A. e Tecnologie Aerodinamiche Srl.
It has been a great time, and I’m sure we’ll keep getting around the new fablab… good luck to the new staff that will take care of it!
[A fab lab is a laboratory of handicraft production, where digital machines manufacture “almost everything “, working on different scales and materials. It is ideal for making manufactured objects in small quantities, very customized: the opposite of mass production. Throughout the world there are few. The first in Italy is in here.]
